On April 1, 2025, the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine welcomed third-year surgical interns to the next stage of their professional journey.

During the introductory lecture, the Head of the Department, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, Professor S. I. Savolyuk, outlined the roadmap for the in-person part of the internship. He emphasized key priorities for young doctors, including:

- Deepening theoretical knowledge and enhancing practical skills in clinical and military surgery, as well as tactical medicine;
- Implementing feedback from mid-term assessments after the first two years of training;
- Properly maintaining individual documentation during the internship;
- Preparing for the final qualification assessment.
