On November 27, 2018, teachers of the Department of Anesthesiology and IC (assistant professor Kuchynska IA, assistant Kolesnikov VG, clinical ordinator Efimenko R) conducted a training on the basics of resuscitation and specialty assistance in various critical conditions for doctors of the Verum Medical Center.

38 doctors of different specialties (surgeons, obstetrician-gynecologists, therapists, neurologists, doctors of functional diagnostics) and nurses took part in the training. The students presented the theoretical basis for the recommendations of the European Council of Resuscitation 2018 and conducted demonstrations on critical situations mannequins. In addition, the participants of the training independently learned to perform various practical skills on mannequins (detection and assessment of the patient in critical condition, restoration of respiratory tract, indirect heart massage, use of automatic external defibrillator, working out of team work skills).
