On 13 - 14 January 2020, the review international meeting of experts in the field of mental health education within the framework of the UNA partnership project (Partnership Ukraine-Norway-Armenia) was held at the Taras Shevchenko National University (KNU) in Kyiv. The organizers were Institute of Psychiatry of the KNU (Head - Pinchuk I.Ya.) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Medical Faculty (Prof. Norbert Skokauskas).

P.L.Shupyk National Medical Academy for Postgraduate Education were presented by Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology prof. Pilyagina G.Y., associate professor Chumak S.A. and postgraduate students of the department. Among the invited guests of honor were Afzal Javed, President-Elect of the World Psychiatric Association and Norman Sartorius, President of the Association for the Improvement of Mental Health Programs, former Director of the World Health Organization Division of Mental Health (1977-1993), former President of the World Psychiatric Association (1993-1999) and former President of the  European Psychiatric Association (1997-2001). The main topics of the meeting of the experts from Ukraine, Norway, Denmark, Georgia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. were the results of the project, exchange of experience in teaching psychiatry, psychotherapy and psychology, taking into account the specifics of post-Soviet universities and implementation in teaching process some programs of World Health Organization and improvement of mental health training curriculi and implementation of them in routine practice of trainings .
