On November 11, a meeting of the expert problem commission on anesthesiology and intensive care was held. Given the epidemic situation, the event was held in  online format. The topics of the planned dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy of PhD students of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care and the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care were considered there.

In total, six PhD students were heard, two of whom are PhD students of the Department of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Intensive Care. Thus, PhD students Maxim Khrapak presented the topic of his study «The effectiveness of peripheral chest blockade in complex intra- and postoperative analgesia of thoracic surgery in children».

PhD student Tetyana Sykachyna spoke about the planning of her work «Optimization of neuromonitoring and intensive care in children with severe traumatic brain injury».

The presented topics aroused interest and lively discussion by members of the expert problem commission. PhD students answered the questions with dignity. At the end of the meeting, the chairman of the commission Oleg Loskutov and members of the expert problem commission wished the PhD students fruitful work.
