
Yuriy Stepanovskyy, Ph.D., M.D., Associate Professor
Graduated from Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University in 2004. Сlinical residency at the Department of Pediatrics №1 of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education.
Current position is assistant professor of the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Immunology of the NMAPE named after P. L. Shupyk.
In 2014 he completed his Ph.D. thesis "Clinical and immunological criteria for predicting the rate of HIV-infection’s progression in children". Scholarship at the National Institute of Human Genome Research, Bethesda, MD, USA in 2015 and 2018 (autoinflammatory diseases)
Teaching experience since 2008.
Stepanovskyy has 20 printed works, co-author of textbooks "Pediatric Immunology", "Pediatric Infectious Diseases" and “Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases”. Responsible for clinical and diagnostic work at the department.Professional interests: primary immunodeficiencies, autoinflammatory diseases, fever of unknown origin in children, Kawasaki disease.
Executive Director of the Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Immunology, member of the NGO "Rare Immune Diseases".
Proficiency in French and English.
