
Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor
Graduated from the National Medical University (Kyiv, Ukraine) in 2000. In 2001 received the Degree of Magister of Medicine after studying at the magistracy at the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Immunology of the Shupyk NMAPE. In 2001-2005 was acting as a post-graduate student at the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Immunology. Research work “Age-dependent peculiarities of meningitis in children (etiology, epidemiology, clinical features, diagnostics)”.
Teaching experience since 2005, since 2012 - as an Associate Professor.
In September 2016 she defended her doctoral dissertation with the topic "Diagnosis and medical and social support of primary immunodeficiencies in children". Has over 60 publications. Co-author of national textbooks "Children's Immunology", "Pediatrics", "Children's Infectious Diseases".
The fields of scientific research include pneumococcal and hemophilic infections in children and their immune prophylaxis; primary immunodeficiencies in children, improvement of diagnostics of primary immunodeficiencies, a register of patients with primary immunodeficiencies.
Anastasiia Bondarenko is responsible for the scientific work in the Department.
Member of the European Society for Primary Immunodeficiencies (ESID), member of the Society of Clinical Immunologists (CIS), the Steering Committee member of the Central-Eastern European International Education Project “J-project”. Board Member of the of NGO "Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Immunology" and NGO "Rare Immune Diseases".
