Shelkova Nataliia Grigorivna is a candidate of medical sciences (1991), has academic degrees of Associate Professor (2003), Associate Professor of the Department of Microbiology, Epidemiology and Infection Control.
Graduated from Kyiv Medical Institute after acad. O. Bogomolets (now - Bogomolets National Medical University), Faculty of Sanitary and Hygiene in 1979. From 1979 to 1987 worked as a bacteriologist in bacteriological laboratories of treatment and prophylactic establishments of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Studied at the target postgraduate study at the Department of Microbiology at the Kiev Institute of Advanced Physicians (1987-1990) in the field of microbiology and virology. Since 1991 worked as an assistant of the department, since 1998 and to date - ), Associate Professor of the department.
In 1991 defended his Ph.D. dissertation "Bacterial - rotavirus relationships and some approaches to the development of therapeutic and prophylactic anti-retroviral drug" in the specialty "microbiology", "virology".
Author of more than 40 scientific works, 2 author's certificates for invention.
Scientific direction: experimental microbiology, clinical microbiology, human microecology.
Awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (2008), Thanks to the Rector P. L. Shupik NMAPO (2012).
