Total work experience is 47 years. Work experience in ophthalmology is 40 years.

Scientific activity: author of more than 760 scientific works, 5 textbooks, 8 reference books, 19 monographs, 26 patents, 15 manuals, 8 state normative documents (3 adapted clinical guidelines, 5 unified clinical protocols of medical help) and 30 educational and methodological recommendations of contemporary ophthalmology. Under the guidance of Professor S.O. Rykov it was defended 3 doctoral dissertations and 20 for the degree of Candidate of Sciences in Medicine.
