Olena Viktorivna Ponochevna - candidate of medical sciences, PhD, associate professor of the department.

Graduated from the pediatric faculty of the Kiev Medical Institute named after O.O Bogomolets in 1989, correspondence postgraduate study at the Kyiv Research Institute of Hematology and   Transfusilogy Ukrainian Academy of Medical Sience  in 2005.

In 2005 she defended the thesis for the candidate of medical sciences (PhD) in the field of hematology and transfusiology.

Since 2007, she has been working as an assistant of the Pediatrics Department No.1 of  the National medical academy of postgraduaited education named after P.L.Shupyk, and since 2013 she   works as an associate professor of this department.

The main directions of teaching, methodological and scientific activities: general pediatrics, child allergology, pediatric rheumatology, pediatric hematology.

Responsible counselor at the clinical base of the department at the Kyiv Riginal Children's Hospital  in Boyarka city and  endocrinological department of National children’s specialized hospital  «OHMATDET».

Permanent curator of  advanced training cycles of pediatricians and doctors of general practice - family medicine.

She is the author of more than 120 scientific works, co-author of 2 methodical recommendations, 2 textbooks and manuals.

Doctor-specialist of the high  qualification category in the specialty "Pediatrics", high  - on the specialty  "Children's Hematology", specialist of "Children's Allergology".

The results of scientific research are presented and reported at scientific conferences, congresses of pediatricians, allergists and rheumatologist, some of them  introduced in practice.
