The head of the department of cardiac surgery, X-ray endovascular and extracorporeal technologies Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, Professor Borys Todurov, together with assistant Mykhailo Todurov and postgraduate students of the department, attended the European congress of cardiac surgeons - The 37th EACTS Annual Meeting, which took place in Vienna, Austria.

Under the slogan «Raising the bar», the congress was presented with the latest technologies in cardio- and thoracic surgery, master classes shared by leading specialists from around the world. Also at the convention was a wonderful exhibition of medical products, where you could find anything from simple surgical instruments to drones that carry ECMO machines.

Our team was very pleased with what they saw. They returned home inspired and with new ideas.
