The goal of the Scientific Library of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine is to participate in the formation of a unified national scientific and information space as part of the world scientific environment.

The main purpose is to support the research activities of the University by creating the necessary conditions for access to information, library services and resources.

The library traditionally performs the functions of collecting, systematizing and storing scientific knowledge, to which in modern conditions is added the structuring of information.

Objectives of the library

Provision of high-quality and efficient library, bibliographic and information services to students and degree candidates: master's students, doctoral students, researchers and scientific and pedagogical staff, organizationally and technically.

Formation and preservation of the library collection in accordance with the university profile and information needs of all categories of users.

Promoting the creation of an academic environment free from corruption and supporting the idea of academic integrity, processes of internal self-regulation of the scientific community.

Ensuring a high level of professionalism of the library staff, their commitment to innovation, skills in developing and maintaining information competencies of users.

Development of the website, digital catalog, and effective presence in social networks.

Areas of work

The main directions of the library's work are:

formation of the book collection and full-text electronic resources in accordance with the university profile and user needs;
studying the information needs of users of all categories;
providing high-quality and prompt library, bibliographic and information services to library users using both traditional and innovative forms of work;
study and implementation advanced forms of library activity in the library.

The library is open:

Monday-Thursday from 10:00 to 17:00

Friday from 10:00 to 16:00

Saturday, Sunday - day off

Last day of the month - sanitary day
