The Department of Cardiology at Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine recently held its traditional Saturday elective classes for cardiologists, internists, family doctors, rheumatologists, and endocrinologists.
The goal of these online meetings is to share the latest evidence-based medicine data and analyze complex clinical cases with input from multidisciplinary teams. This collaborative approach allows for a comprehensive examination of issues, facilitating the identification of the most effective treatment strategies for patients.
Presentations were made by Iryna Bryner, MD, PhD, Medical Director of the Professor Rekalov Rheumatology Clinic; Professor Maryna Dolzhenko, Head of the Cardiology Department at Shupyk National Healthcare University; and Lidiya Lobach, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Cardiology Department.
The event concluded with a dynamic analysis of a complex clinical case involving chronic coronary syndrome. This analysis was conducted by Tetiana Simagina, an assistant in the Department of Cardiology and Candidate of Medical Sciences, in collaboration with Professor Marina Dolzhenko. Their joint discussion highlighted the intricacies of post-infarction cardiosclerosis and its differentiation from conduction blocks.
