On the 25th of April, 2017 in the KyivExpoPlaza exhibition centre there was formal opening ceremony of the 8thInternational Medical Forum “Innovations in Medicine – Health of the Nation”. The sponsors of the forum are National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and LMT Company.
The sponsors, members and quests of the Forum received congratulatory addresses from the President of Ukraine Perto Poroshenko and Prime-Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Hroisman.
The formal opening ceremony was attended by: Head of the Department of Health Care and Social Policy of the Administration of the President of Ukraine Ihor Lurin, Deputy Head of the Committee of Verkhovna Rada on Health Care Issues, National Deputy of Ukraine Iryna Sysoienko, First Vice President, Presidium Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine Academician Anton Naumovets, the President of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine Vitaliy Tsymbaliuk, First Deputy Director of the Department of Health of Kyiv City State Administration Valentyna Hinzburh, Head of All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Ukrainian League of Promoting Palliative and Hospice Care”, Head of the Department of Public Health of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine Vasyl Kniazevych.
On behalf of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education the Rector Academician Yuriy Voronenko greeted guests and members of the Forum.
Among the honorary guests there were representatives of embassies and commercial and economic mission agencies, heads of subdivisions on health care issues of regional state administrations, directors of state institutions of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and National Academy of Medical Sciences, vice-rectors, directors of the institutes and heads of the departments of NMAPE, chief free-lance specialists of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, presidents of medical and dental associations, directors of the corporate participants of the Forum, members of the media, best experts in health care.
This year's Forum will be held from the 25th to 27th of April and will bring together 90 scientific events: conferences, symposia, seminars, lectures, workshops, practical schools that will be held within the framework of the 8th International Medical Congress “Implementation of Modern Achievements of Medical Science in Health Care Practice of Ukraine” and International Dental Congress.
As part of the Forum there will be also held the largest in Ukraine specialized exhibition – International Exhibition of Health Care Medicaexpo, International Pharmaceutical Exhibition Pharmaexpo and International Exhibition of Dental Equipment Dentalexpo. The expositional part will present the latest medical and dental equipment, medical instruments, pharmaceutical products etc.
At the same time there will be held the 4th International Exhibition of Medical Tourism, SPA&Wellness — Healthcare Travel Expo with participation of theleading international clinics, medical and rehabilitation centres, sanatorium-and-spa resorts, SPA&Wellness resorts of Ukraine, Poland, Israel, Lithuania, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Turkey.
