The elections of the rector were held in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education”, Methodological recommendations on the peculiarities of the election system and method of electing the head of higher educational establishment, approved by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No.726 from 05.12.2014, and local regulations of NMAPE.

The Ministry of Health of Ukraine recommended Yu.V. Voronenko for the position of the rector. The candidacy meets the requirements of the Law of Ukraine “On Higher Education” and conditions of the elections, which were announced by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the Education of Ukraine Journal No.38 (1492) from 26.09.2016. 

96.94% of voters took part in the elections, including academic and teaching staff, internship doctors, master's students, resident physicians, postgraduate and doctoral students.

The candidacy of Yu.V. Voronenko was supported by 92.53% of voters (817 out of 883).

No violations of the current legislation and local regulations of NMAPE were reported.
