Traditionally an important form of studies at the specialization cycle is a student conference on clinical usage of functional diagnostics methods and rare clinical cases. All students and their group supervisors take part in this conference lasting three days. The topics of presentations at this year conference were the diagnosis of the Brugada syndrome, treatment of acute coronary syndromes and cardiac arrhythmias, silent myocardial ischemia, catheter ablation of AV node in atrial fibrillation, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, pulmonary artery stenosis, aortic coarctation, pulmonary embolism in pregnant woman, etc. A special attention was paid to the presentations on neurologic topics, including differential diagnostics of the intoxication syndrome with frontal epilepsy and Pandas syndrome. The preparation of the conference, the detailed discussion of the reports is one of the most interesting elements of the studies, which every student of the department will surely remember.
