On December 4, 2018, at the Department of Anesthesiology and IC, classes were held on the basics of emergency care in critical conditions for 14 teachers from the Institute of Postgraduate Pedagogical Education of Kyiv Borys Grinchenko University. Present teachers teach the subject "Fundamentals of Health" for pupils of class 5-9.

The great interest and need for this training was shaped by the need for teachers to take classes without having to pass the necessary medical courses. Teachers were provided with theoretical and practical knowledge on conducting basic resuscitation skills (basics of work safety with the victims, detection of a person in critical condition and in need of assistance, conducting indirect heart massage, restoration of respiratory tract, demonstration of the use of an automatic external defibrillator). Also, a short training on the principles of stopping external critical bleeding with turnstiles, wound pressure and tampon was conducted. The teachers expressed their sincere gratitude for the organized training and the need for continued cooperation with the Department of Anesthesiology and IC with the aim of possible training organizations for schoolchildren.
