In the journal Pediatrics. Eastern Europe Volume 6 No. 4, 2018 published an article: Pediatric Faculty of the Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education: Age History and Prospects.

The article reflects the founders of the academy - Professor E.Sklovsky and A.Lazarev and the formation of the pediatric faculty as a separate structure, which took place in 1983. Professor G.Tebenchuk became the first dean. At present, the pediatric faculty combines 9 departments and carries out training and improvement in 14 specialties. The priority direction of the departments is scientific work. The pediatric faculty retains a leading position in the preparation and postgraduate education of pediatricians and doctors of other specialties in Ukraine.
