This year a new Medical English Thematic Advanced Training Course for NMAPE academic staff has started at the Department of Foreign Languages. The classes are taken by a highly skilled teacher Marina Pastukhova.

The course is aimed at faculty members' English language sustainment and enhancement, their improving foreign linguistic competence.

The staff members can master skills and abilities, essential to taking part in academic conferences, business appointments and correspondence, telephone conversations, etc.

Particular attention is paid to studying the structure of presentations, means of influencing the audience, the characteristic linguistic properties of formal and informal meetings.

The Course is intended to develop active interaction of the educational process participants, simulate occupational situations; all this makes it possible for one to push the academic process closer to the real-life environment.
