25.01.2019 at the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education was held a practical conference with the participation of the main staff of the department, postgraduate doctors, clinical interns and deputy director dealing with organizational and methodical issues -Novoselsky Oleksandr Oleksandrovich. 

The main issues were discussed about organizational, methodological, regulatory, and law issues of providing psychiatric care to the population.During the lecture  were represented emotional discussions, discussed practical aspects of the application of Ukrainian legislation, in particular the Law of Ukraine "On Psychiatric Aid", as well as orders and regulations of the Ministry of Health, which regulate the professional activity of a psychiatrist in outpatient and inpatient care practice.

This discussion is very important because after a week the graduates of the chair, interns of the 2nd year of study, will begin their independent activity in health care institutions in different parts of Ukraine: Kyiv, Zaporozhye, Ternopil, Cherkassy, Chernihiv, Sumy and Zhytomyr areas.

During the training in our department, interns and students of other cycles repeatedly had an opportunity to take part in scientific and practical events organized by the department, which made it possible to improve  their theoretical knowledge.
