Within the framework of the cooperation of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education and Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital, a master class and a briefing conference with the participation of foreign colleagues from basic resuscitation in a clinical hospital was organized.
The master class was conducted by a consultant at the Clinical Hospital of Brighton, UK, Irina Rybinkina. The scenario of the master class envisaged the simulation of cardiac arrest in the hall of the hospital, the call of the team of anaesthesiologists and providing basic resuscitation in accordance with modern protocols. All actions of the reanimation team were filmed and disassembled during a briefing conference.
After practical part a conference was organized for doctors of the pit department and the departments of anesthesiology and intensive care at the museum of the Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital. In addition to the analysis of the stimulant part and practical skills, a discussion club was organized on the topic of the organization and preparation of clinicians for the provision of basic resuscitation. In this club, apart from doctors and managers, representatives of the hospital administration participated in the discussion.
Iryna Rybinkina donated 3 bags for intensive care to the department of the hospital, which fully equipped in accordance with modern standards for conducting resuscitation measures.
As a result of the work, agreements were reached between the Department of Anesthesiology and IT of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital and representatives of the Brighton Hospital (Great Britain) on further training on the provision of intensive care to patients in a hospital.
