On May, 27 and 28 in Kyiv and Dnipro there were 2 meetings of Club of Endocrinology Innovations chaired by the head of Department of Diabetology of P.L.Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education Professor Boris Mankovsky with the participation of Professor Leszek Chuprunyak from Poland.

Professor Chupruniak is one of the leading diabetologists of Europe, he is the Head of Department of Diabetology in Warsaw University which is the largest in the country.  During many years Professor Chuprunyak successfully chaired the Postgraduate Committee of European Association for the Study of Diabetes and under his leadership many educational courses had been held not just in European countries but in many countries of Asia and Africa. For 4 years he was the President of Polish Diabetology Association.

The lecture of Professor Chuprunyak devoted to the current guidelines of the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus has been received with the great interest in both cities - Kyiv and Dnipro.

At the meetings the lectures were also presented by Professors Boris Mankovsky, Nataliia Pertseva, associate professors of Department of Diabetology - Irina Kondrazkaya, Nadiia Zherdeva, Olga Orlyk.
The next meetings of the Club of Endocrinology Innovations are going to be held on the autumn with the participation of the leading foreign scientists.
