The new law on continuous postgraduate education of doctors challenges Shupyk NMAPE clinical departments and encourage to implement training plan as escalating competition in the education sphere, including the private institutions.
In this case, especially critical and necessary to present the innovative experience, clinical capabilities and benefits of the medical community to be interesting to the academic institutions in order to make Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education the best variant to choose to undergo cycles of thematic improvement.
Taking into account the new challenges and risks associated with the completion of cycles, the team of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education decided to establish close ties with the city and regional centers of the Association of Surgeons for the exchange of experience and interest of students in studying.
In February 2019, and in March 2019, the Chief of Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery - S. Savoliuk (MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor) received an invitation from Surgeons Associations of Zaporizhya, Chernihiv, Khmelnytsky, Kropivnitsky where he made a speeches in front of the surgical communities with the following reports: "Modern strategy of surgical treatment of diabetic foot syndrome" and "Fast recovery techniques in abdominal surgery".
The report, multimedia support and video material caused a lively discussion and interest among the audience. The presented interesting clinical experience and innovative developments of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery NMAPE encourages them to continue their study during the cycles of the thematic improvement and scientific and practical activities that are actively conducted by the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery for the subsequent introduction into the institutions of practical health care.
Such experience is a rather perspective direction, which department will continue to develop for the implementation of the educational plan.
