The roots of scientific publications were laid back in 1665, when Henry Oldenburg of the British Royal Society and his colleagues founded the first periodical – «Philosophical Transactions» of the Royal Society. The «Philosophical Transactions» of the Royal Society contributed to the development of the entire scientific community, facilitating communication between researchers and overcoming their isolation.

Currently, scientific work can reach a larger audience and contribute to the betterment of society in a more systematic way. Now scientists have the opportunity to draw on each other's work and to promote research work in the context of cooperation and openness.
The quality of publications is an important factor in the evaluation of research results and can be an indicator of the effectiveness of all scientific work of research groups.
