On October 4-5, 2019, a specialized scientific forum of the Hungarian Society for Cardiovascular and X-ray Surgeons (Hungarian Society for Cardiology and Vascular Surgery, Hungarian Society for Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology) was held in Budapest (Hungary) - Another Phlebology-2019 : Conference on Practical Questions, which brought together experts from all around the world who deal with the problems of minimally invasive surgery for varicose veins of the lower extremities and its complications.

Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education at this European surgical event was represented by employee of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery (head of the department - Professor Savoliuk S.(MD, Dr.Sc., Full Professor)) - curator of programmatic cycles of thematic improvement "Modern Minimally Invasive Methods in Phlebology" Gorbovets V.( MD, PhD).

The program of the 2-day practical-oriented forum consisted of theoretical (development of recommendations, protocols, classifications) and practical part (workshops, master-classes), covering the whole spectrum of modern minimally invasive vein surgery.

The departmental report "Endovenous Electric Impact in the Treatment of Chronic Venous Pathology" (team of authors: Savoliuk S.I., Hodos V.A., Assoc. Gorbovets V.S., Geraschenko R.A.) by Gorbovets V.( MD, PhD) was included in the program of the plenary session, which concerned the use of modern endovenous thermal techniques in the treatment of chronic varicose veins of the lower extremities. This work summarized the departmental experience of using endothelial biowelding technology in minimally invasive surgery of varicose veins of the lower extremities and its complications, which caused great interest and became the basis for creating new opportunities for further surgical research.

The gained knowledge, experience and modern protocols, recommendations will be taken into account for writing new training programs for doctors, interns and in preparation for printing a monograph on the basics of modern minimally invasive phlebology.
