Nowadays scientists and medical doctors pay attention to the problem of the management of multidisciplinair diseases. Among these conditions are diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, etc., which occupy a special place. A conference «Modern Aspects of Implementation of Scientific Clinical Guidelines of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine 2018-2019 on the Basis of Evidence-Based Medicine» took place in Rivne on November 6, 2019 was dedicated to these problems.
The conference was attended by doctors of various specialties: physicians, cardiologists, family doctors, neurologists, endocrinologists, anesthesiologists, who participated in a lively discussion on modern methods of treatment of common multidisciplinary diseases.
Oleksandr Galushko, Full Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Shupyk NMAPE, highlighted the problems of the management of diabetic patients in accordance with current international clinical guidelines. Particular attention and curiosity of the partisipants was aroused by the speaker's information about new possibilities of intensive care of urgent conditions, in particular diabetic coma, and management of patients with complications in therapeutic and surgical departments.
The current strategy of treatment of myocardial infarction, hypertension and cerebrovascular diseases was disscused. Professor Vasyl Netyazhenko, President of the Association of Internal Medicine Doctors of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and Professor Tetiana Malchevska from the Department of Propedeutics of Internal Medicine No 1 of Bogomolets National Medical University made speeches on this topic. During the conference, a round table on problems of infusion therapy of urgent conditions was also held.
About 130 physicians from different specialties participated in the discussions. At the end of the event, a resolution on the importance of active implementation of standards of care according to current international clinical guidelines and the expediency of regular discussion of the problems of managing patients with multidisciplinary pathology at interdisciplinary conferences was adopted.
