The Department of Foreign Languages has been conducting the “Lecturers’ Advanced Training” course for 3 years. The lessons are taught by Assistant Professors L. Savchuk and L. Saienko, experienced hands at training medical terminology. The teachers apply various techniques which make it possible the classes both to enhance theoretical knowledge and activate practical language skills. The course content is outfitted with modern learning technologies as they wield major influence on learning outcomes.

The program is divided into modules, at the end of which testing is carried out. Having passed each module, the learner is to make the spotlight presentation in English.

Today, 44 attendees have mastered linguistic medical and general competencies, as evidenced by the examination results taken at the international training centres, i. e. 13 learners have got B2 English level certificates, including Pearson and FCE.

They all are going to train at the "Studying for the Pearson Test of English General" course, as PTE General is recognized globally by universities, employers and national education authorities as evidence of a required standard of English.
