The development of modern surgical operations has made it possible to aggressively implement minimally invasive and low-traumatic surgical technologies, that allows to obtain rapid postoperative results, renewal and return to normal life style.

This was primary idea of creating cycle of thematic studying "Modern Minimally Invasive Methods in Phlebology", which worked on December 4, 2019 at the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Shupyk NMAPE (Head of the Department - Prof. Savoliuk S.).

In the introductory lecture Prof. Savoliuk S. had a talk with 26 full-time 2-week trainees, focusing on the low-invasive surgical technology of the treatment of low extremities varicose veins  - radio-frequency ablation, endovenous laser coagulation,puncture techniques, scleroobliteration, endovenous biowelding.

The program of the cycle is full of modern lecture material on the results of the latest international protocols and standards, practical trainings in operating room, live surgery master classes with the participation of the staff of the department (Prof. Savoliuk S., Associate Prof. Hodos V., Gorbovets V.), as well as the participation of students of the thematic improvement cycle for maximum efficiency in acquiring the skills to work with modern techniques in minimally invasive phlebology.
