This time, for conducting ultrasound master class for 1-year anesthesiologist residents were invited experienced physicians from Feofaniya Clinical Hospital Volodymyr Martsyniv and Yevhen Mogoryta, as well as a recent graduate of the department of anaesthesia Elena Bobrovnyk. This event was planned well in advance, and residents were very much in anticipation of it, but just a few days before the event, significant changes and additions to the agenda had to be made. This was because on the day of the workshop, a well-known British specialist in the management of respiratory tract Nigel Dunlop arrived in Kyiv and he agreed to conduct a workshop on video laryngoscopy.

Later on, the practical skills of ultrasound verification of central veins and nerve plexuses were performed on volunteers at 3 "stations", and visualisation of the needle under the control of ultrasound was worked on the fourth, using specially prepared gels that mimic anatomical structures. Each of the residents had the opportunity to repeatedly performing and mastering ultrasound imaging on portable devices of middle, high and expert class. Before each hour of practical work, specialists made a short presentation explaining the features of the imaging technique and performing the blockage or puncture procedure. After completing the main program, a large part of the interns remained to refine their practical skills at one or another "stations", so the master class lasted until 4 p.m. In their feedback, residents emphasized the need to continue such practical training using modern equipment and their willingness to attend them further.
