The current challenges to the domestic health care system in the context of reform require a fundamental change in approaches to the effectiveness of the treatment process in hospitals.
Tendencies and trends in the development of abdominal surgery, focused on the use of laparoscopic minimally invasive surgical access, open up new opportunities to increase the rates of surgical activity, increas quality of life of operated patients in the early and distant postoperative time, accelerate their rehabilitation and recovery after operation.
Exactly on these principles based the curriculum and program of the new cycle of thematic improvement "Fast track recovery program in abdominal surgery" of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk NMAPE (Head of the Department - Doctor of Medical Sciences, Full Professor Savoliuk S.), which provides information about the ideology, methodology and sequence of factors implemented before, during and after surgery, and the expediency of their use in routine surgical activity of profile hospitals in order to achieve optimal results of perioperative curation of surgical patients with urgent and planned abdominal pathology.
On March 10, 2020, at the invitation and request of the regional and city centers of the Association of Surgeons of Ukraine in the city of Kherson and Kherson region, the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk NMAPE began conducting a cycle of thematic improvement of the "Fast track recovery program in abdominal surgery" at Kherson Regional Clinical Hospital with the involvement of 19 surgeons. During this cycle Prof. Savoliuk S. and Associate Prof. Hodos V. will provide program lectures, practical and seminar classes, demonstrate operations and master classes.
