The Lecturers’ advanced training course started in September 2016.

The purpose of the Course was to attract medical workers who have a wish to participate in international conferences as well as to improve the ability to use language accurately and appropriately while interacting with learners.

A course is composed of 15 modules, including 15 essential topics. The first Module is taken at the end of January. The last is in December followed by assessment, which is based on overall performance at the end of 600 hours of studying.

To be accepted for the Course, applicants should fulfil the following criteria – awareness and –A-B level of competence in written and spoken English in order to be able to follow the course and prepare for training international students.

The Mentor of the Course is an experienced teacher Lyudmyla Savchuk. From 2006 to2016 she’d been working in educational sphere in Great Britain. In 2018 she was awarded the Cambridge Certificate in teaching English to speakers of other languages.

From 2016 thirty-one students have obtained the Certificate of Completion. Among them 25 students have passed B2 successfully, including Pearson and FCE.

The format of the Course is online studying.

Although this year is hard for all doctors, they have managed to prepare a lot of leaflets and lectures, where they explain social distancing measures, general principles to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, give strong recommendation what to do if you develop symptoms of Covid-19.
