ix International Symposium on Bioethics "Health, Medicine and Philosophy: Survival Strategies" will be held on April 15—16, 2021 online.  The Symposium is organized by the Department of Philosophy of Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine in cooperation with the Ukrainian Association of Bioethics, Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, the International Sakharov Environmental Institute of Belarusian State University, Tashkent State Dental Institute, and South Kazakhstan Medical Academy

Objective of the symposium: discussion of the philosophical, theoretical, methodological and bioethical foundations of modern medicine and the concepts of health in the context of global challenges. It is planned to consider the following issues: philosophical foundations of medical theory and practice; modern concepts of health: philosophical, methodological and bioethical aspects; bioethical, ethical-legislative and axiological dimensions of medicine; biomedical technologies, philosophy and bioethics: survival strategies. The role of philosophy and bioethics in the era of the pandemic; philosophical, ethical, legal and bioethical issues of medical reform; actual issues of teaching philosophy and bioethics in medical universities. 

Working languages: Ukrainian, English, Russian.
