Last week, a team of doctors from the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, headed by Borys Todurov, Head of the Department of Cardiac Surgery, X-ray and Extracorporeal Technologies, returned from Uzbekistan, where they shared their experience at the invitation of colleagues from the Republican Specialized Medical Center.

The trip was very intense, rich and bright.

The team of the Institute performed 15 complex operations in 5 days, examined 250 patients, gave a lecture for students and doctors of Samarkand Medical University Boris Todurov, planned scientific cooperation with Samarkand Medical University.

Such trips are important for the team, because they allow us to share experiences, expand horizons and open new opportunities and wonderful people.

We thank our colleagues from Uzbekistan for the invitation, hospitality and trust.

But the most important and pleasant thing for us was that we helped to start the practice of our first graduate, a clinical resident - Berdykul Turaev, who began his own path in cardiac surgery.
