On October, 22 Head of the Department of Functional Diagnostics Professor Oleg Zharinov participated in the online conference “From diagnosis to therapeutic strategies” organized by Radiology Department of Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University.

The scientific programme of the conference covered contemporary issues of cardiology and functional diagnostics, ECG, ECG monitoring, cardiac electrophysiology, and the participants were leading Ukrainian and international experts.

The programme of the conference included special meeting of the International Society of Holter and Noninvasive Electrocardiology (ISHNE). President of ISHNE Professor Takinori Ikeda (Japan) opened this meeting. The programme included most recent issues of electrocardiology and ECG monitoring. I.e., the aspects of atrial fibrillation screening were discussed by Rod Passman (USA), ECG-prognosis of atrial fibrillation – by Vassilios Vassilikos (Greece), sudden cardiac death risk stratification in myocarditis – by Krzysztof Kaczmarek (Poland). Professor Oleg Zharinov analyzed mistakes in the diagnosis of wide QRS supraventricular tachycardias and Docent Myhaylo Sorokivsky – ECG diagnosis of ventricular tachycardias.

The participation at the conference and ISHNE is important to strengthen impact of the University, to integrate Ukrainian specialists and their departments into well known international society, to establish personal contacts with leading international experts.
