A scientific-practical conference with international participation "IX pediatric school" was successfully held in Kyiv in offline and online mode with the support of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine on October 7-10 2021.

The conference included plenary sessions, satellite symposia, workshops, discussion club, multidisciplinary discussions led by leading experts in gastroenterology, otorhinolaryngology, pulmonology, allergology.

This scientific and practical forum was attended by well-known domestic pediatricians and international experts in pediatric pulmonology, emergency medicine, somnology, endocrinology, allergology and immunology: prof.  Thomas Erler, prof.  Carsten Schwartz, prof.  Bernhard Kosak, Dr. Eva Erler, prof.  Passion Echenhagen from Germany, prof.  Jiri Beran from the Czech Republic, prof.  Angelica Solntseva from Belarus, prof.  Alla Nakonechna from Great Britain.

Employees of the Department of Child and Adolescent Diseases Head Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine under the leadership of the corresponding member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, prof.  Beketova GV actively participated in the scientific forum and gave a number of reports and practical workshops on the use of antibiotics in the pandemic COVID-19, post-infectious cough, therapy of ketonuric syndrome and recurrent respiratory lactase deficiency, infection control, iron and calcium deficiency in children, breastfeeding during the pandemic COVID-19, emergency pulse oximetry, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, modern problems of vaccination. 

More than 2.5 thousand pediatricians and family doctors took part in the work of the IX Pediatric School and received interesting and very useful information for practical activities.  The participants of the scientific-practical forum highly appreciated the level and significance of the received information.
