The scientific effort of the Department is aimed at studying how to improve teaching methods and the systems of teaching quality evaluation; it is realized in the theses, which are performed by the teaching staff, in a great number of papers and reports at symposia, conferences of different level including international.

In 2012-2022 the staff members of the Department published over 160 scientific papers.
