The Department’s scientific activities are aimed at philosophical issues of medicine and biology that realized in the great numbers of scientific publications and presentations at symposiums and conferences. More than ten monographs were published by the members of the scientific staff.

Actual problems of Ukraine’s development, social life, health, social-psychological particularities of political processes in Ukraine, bioethical and valeological issues are investigated at the Department. A great attention is paid to the development of the system of postgraduate medical education.
