Professor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Head of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Immunology Department since 2016.

Graduated from the National Medical University named Bogomoletz O.O. (Kyiv, Ukraine) in 1983, conducted clinical and research fellow program in Pediatric Department of the University.

Since 1993 –assistant-professor, since 1996 – associate-professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Immunology Department of Shupyk NMAPE. She spent training periods in Universities of Canada, Israel, Austria and the Great Britain.

She received degree of D.M.Sc in the field of primary antibody deficiency in 2009. Since 2012 - professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Immunology Department.

Author of 160 works, editor of national textbook "Children's Immunology”, co-author of national textbooks "Children's Infectious Diseases", Pediatrics", teaching manual "Immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases”. Prof. Alla Volokha’s main scientific interest is in the field of primary immunodeficiency, immunoprophylaxis of infectious diseases and HIV infection in children.

Professor Alla Volokha is member of the European Society of Infectious Infectious Diseases (ESPID), the European Society for Primary Immunodeficiencies (ESID), Pediatric Network of Treatment of AIDS and  Infectious Diseases (PENTA-id), the organizing committee for the project on the primary immune deficiency in children "J-project" in Central and Eastern Europe. Board member of NGO Ukrainian Association of Pediatric Immunology.
