This week at the Department of Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Medical Psychology of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine 35 specialists, who have shown a high level of skills and training, are graduating from specialization in psychotherapy.

Despite the war in Ukraine, we continue to teach and learn. We congratulate our young colleagues and wish them fruitful professional activity, enthusiasm for further self-development and good luck!

We are also pleased to announce the next specialization course in psychotherapy, which, according to the reform and the great demand for specialists of this profile in wartime, will take place in a new format: for doctors (not psychiatrists) of the therapeutic profile - starting in February and lasting 4 months, for psychiatrists - the course starts in March and will last 3 months.

During the specialization cycle, the main principles and approaches in psychotherapy practice, diagnosis and preparation of a treatment plan will be considered, as well as an introduction to various areas of psychotherapy. For doctors of a therapeutic profile, the training course also includes a cycle of psychiatry propaedeutics.
