On June 3, 2021, the staff of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care made reports at the All-Ukrainian Teleconference "I Interdisciplinary College of Neurological Diseases", which was attended by more than 7,000 doctors from all over Ukraine.

Thus, the Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, Professor Oleg Loskutov gave a lecture on "Long-COVID: neurological manifestations and basic pathophysiological mechanisms. A practical view of an anesthesiologist ", which highlighted the main links of the pathological process in COVID-19 and the mechanisms of action of coronaviruses on the central nervous system. The speaker also shared his own practical experience in the treatment of complex patients and outlined future directions of intensive care for this disease. 

In the report "Long-COVID: it is impossible to ignore, it is necessary to treat", Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Oleksander Galushko described the complications of coronavirus infection that form postcovid syndrome. The speaker revealed the features of the clinical manifestation, risk factors and promising treatments for this new disease, as well as focused on new approaches to the treatment of conditions associated with the development of Long-COVID.

Report of the Professor of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Maryna Trishchynska on the topic: "Brain fog: correction of neurocognitive disorders in the postcovid period" was devoted to the peculiarities of care for patients with neurological profile in coronavirus infection.

Professor M. Trishchynska discussed aspects of diagnosis and clinical course of neurocognitive disorders of microcirculation in diseases of the nervous system, as well as analyzed current approaches to intensive care and prevention of these pathological conditions in patients in the postcovid period. 

All lectures of our University representatives were broadcast live on the YouTube channel and aroused lively interest and a number of questions from listeners.
