The residents, masters and postgraduate students from Georgia and Azerbaijan are trained at the department.
The staff members participate in the international scientific conferences, congresses, symposia held in Strasbourg (France), Prague (Czechia), Vienne (Austria), Baden-Baden (Germany), other cities and countries.
The staff members are the fellows of the EAGO, AAGL and ESGE.
In the near future the projects of the department are to implement telemedia technologies and to apply distance learning for physicians, to actively cooperate with the professional associations of Europe and North America, the leading international experts.
