Education: graduated from the Bogomolets National Medical University in 1986 with the honors degree, specialty “Humen medicine”.

Qualification: High category, specialty “Ophthalmology”. Total seniority accounts 33 years including 33-year ophthalmological experience.

Academic degrees: Candidate of medical sciences (2014), Associate Professor (2021).

Membership in Ukrainian and Internaional associations: Member of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS), Member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), Member of the Ukrainian Association of Ophthalmologists.

Professional activity:  specializes in surgical treatment of cornea (ceratoplasic), facoemulsification with implantation of various intraocular lenses (including toric, multifocal etc.), correction of astigmatism, surgical treatment of glaucoma, plastic and reconstructive surgery, treatment of uveitis. Surgical activity within Eye Microsurgical Centre in Kiev is more than 30 years.

Scientific activity: author of more than 47 papers, 3 patents, numerous methodical recommendations and computer educational programs, diagnostics and treatment of lens, glaucoma and dry eye.

Teaching experience: has been working at the Department of Ophthalmology of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine of the Ministry of Public Health of Ukraine since 2003. Associate Professor since 2016. Pedagogical seniority accounts 18 years.
