Shupyk NMAPO.The contingent of students at the cycle of thematic improvement courses "Violation of the oculomotor apparatus" - the managers and residents of the ophthalmologic departments, ophthalmologists of the offices of the clinics and medical units, children's ophthalmologists who have experience in practical work in the specialty for at least 3 years.The first transdisciplinary cycle "Violation of the oculomotor apparatus" was successfully held on 20/04 – 22/05/2015.

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
The educational work of the department is aimed at improving the training of highly skilled ophthalmologists, pediatric ophthalmologists and optometrists, the formation of the scientific outlook of interns and students, and the formation of their active life position. The curator is responsible for the educational work at the department, carries out the implementation of the tasks of physicians training. The activity of the curator is aimed at obtaining a social experience of behavior by a physician, at formation of national consciousness, values ​​orientations and the development of individual qualities of the future specialist - an ophthalmologist. A prerequisite for the successful work of interns and students is the mastering of new rules of life and training at the Department of Ophthalmology as a basis for Postgraduate Education Institution (P.L. Shupyk National Academy of Postgraduate Education), which provide internal comfort and reduce the possibility of conflict with the environment. All these aspects are the basis of the educational work of the department as a whole and of the curator - associate professor of the department in particular. In carrying out the duties of the curators of internship, specialisation, internship, thematic improvement and pre-certification cycles, the teachers of the department conduct open thematic educational events, in which issues of legal, moral, patriotic, labour, gender, economic, religious education of interns and students are discussed, events on the development of spirituality, the protection of morals, the formation of a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of offenses, drug addiction and alcoholism among interns and doctors - students and education of their lean attitude to the property of the academy, both in educational buildings and in the dormitories are held. Educational work is carried out in accordance with the plan of educational work of the department in the main directions of humanistic education.
