Graduated with honors from the Kharkiv Medical Institute in 1988. Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor. Has a higher qualification category in the specialty "Radionuclide diagnostics". Member of the Association of Radiologists of Ukraine. Member of the Presidium of the Ukrainian Society of Specialists in Nuclear Medicine. He has been working at the department since 1997. The main field of activity is nuclear medicine, effective selection of diagnostic images in clinical practice, radiation diagnostics in oncourology. The author of about 400 scientific works, including textbook, 4 training manuals, a monograph and a national guide. Deputy Chairman of the Specialized Scientific Council at the P.L. Shupyka (defense of doctoral and candidate theses in the specialty "radiodiagnosis and radiation therapy". Member of the specialized Scientific Council at the National Cancer Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine (defense of doctoral and candidate theses in the specialties "radiodiagnosis and radiation therapy" and "oncology"). Member of the Expert of the problem commission of the Ukrainian National Health Service named after P. L. Shupyk. Member of the Central Certification Commission of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Expert of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine in the areas of "Radiology. Ultrasound diagnostics. Radiology. Radionuclide diagnostics. Radiotherapy". Editor-in-chief of the magazine "Radiological Herald", member of the editorial board of the magazines "Ukrainian Radiological and Oncological Journal" and "Radiation Diagnostics. Radiation Therapy". He gives lectures at a high level, conducts practical and seminar classes. Co-author of training plans and internship programs, specialization cycles, thematic improvement.
