On August 15, Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine conducted its entrance exam in foreign languages, an essential step for prospective master's degree students. The exam, organized by the Department of Language Training and Humanitarian Disciplines, was meticulously designed to assess candidates' language skills through a detailed 200-point scoring system, ensuring a rigorous evaluation of their readiness for advanced academic studies.

The examination comprised two primary components: a grammar test and a written essay. The grammar test included 20 sentences, each carrying 4 points, contributing 80 points to the total score. This section evaluated the candidates' command of fundamental grammatical rules, which are crucial for their future success in the rigorous academic environment of a master's program.

The written essay, requiring a composition of 180 to 250 words, was valued at 120 points. This portion of the exam was assessed based on several criteria: grammatical accuracy (40 points), lexical informative value (30 points), creative use of grammatical structures (25 points), and the organization and structure of the text (15 points). Additionally, up to 10 points were awarded for adherence to the specified word count, ensuring that candidates demonstrated precise and concise expression.

Out of all the candidates, 28 individuals successfully passed the exam, showcasing their language proficiency and preparedness for the challenges of master's level education. The exam was administered by highly qualified faculty members from the Department of Language Training and Humanitarian Disciplines, who ensured that the assessment was conducted with the utmost integrity and academic rigor.
