The challenges facing modern postgraduate education of doctors, in the conditions of growing competition from public and private medical institutions, encourages clinical departments to search for new, innovative approaches and implement comprehensive strategies.

During 2024-2025, the head of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine, Professor Serhiy Savolyuk received an invitation from the Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyi branches of the regional and city Association of Surgeons and the city of Kropyvnytskyi, where he spoke to the surgical community with program reports: Modern trends in the treatment of diabetic foot syndrome”; and “Rapid recovery technologies in abdominal surgery and oncology”, “Features of vascular pathology in injection drug users”, “Trophic ulcers: a modern view of an old problem”, “Simultaneous operations in surgery: the current state of the problem and prospects for implementation”.

The report, multimedia support, and the department's own video materials presented arouse lively discussion and interest among the surgical audience. Analysis of interesting clinical cases and innovative developments of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery in the field of minimally invasive surgery allow attracting new students, which, in the context of competition for consumers of educational services, stimulates the staff of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery to further improve the technologies of medical, scientific, and educational and methodological work.Such experience is an interesting direction that the department will continue to develop to implement the educational and production plan.
