On September 17, a six-day series of comprehensive trainings by MedGlobal Ukraine on Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) began at the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine. These trainings are designed to improve the skills of healthcare professionals in providing emergency care to patients in emergency conditions.

The trainings are held at the Andriy Tkachenko Training and Production Center for Simulation Methods of Education. The sessions will be led by expert trainers Asma Usuf Ali, Alicia Bean, and Christen Davis, who bring extensive experience and expertise in life-saving protocols from the American Heart Association (AHA). Participants will receive hands-on training and certification in these internationally recognized courses, which are essential for healthcare providers in emergency settings.

Training Highlights:

BLS (Basic Life Support): Focuses on mastering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and managing airway obstructions. Participants will practice these vital skills to respond effectively to cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants.

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support): Offers advanced training on managing severe cardiovascular emergencies, including recognizing and treating cardiac arrest, arrhythmias, and stroke. This course emphasizes teamwork, communication, and using medications and advanced equipment to optimize patient outcomes.

PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support): Specializes in pediatric emergency care, focusing on high-quality CPR, recognizing respiratory distress and failure, and managing pediatric shock and arrhythmias. This course equips healthcare providers with the skills needed to stabilize critically ill children in various emergency scenarios.

Upon successful completion of the theoretical and practical components, participants will receive certificates from the American Heart Association and MedGlobal, validating their expertise in these crucial life support techniques.
