On November 24-27, the IX Scientific and Practical Conference of the International Association for the Study of Abnormally Invasive Placentas (IS-PAS) is taking place in Utrecht (Netherlands).

Foreign colleagues highly appreciated the experience of our department in the prevention of massive obstetric bleeding in the most difficult cases of germination of all layers of the uterus and adhesion to the bladder wall.
Our experience in using such a method of preventing hemorrhagic complications in the case of complex obstetric cases with the involvement of a multidisciplinary team of specialists (obstetricians-gynecologists, vascular surgeons, urologists, anesthesiologists, transfusiologists) makes it possible to significantly reduce the volume of blood loss, prevent cases of severe hemorrhagic shock and damage to adjacent organs (bladder, intestines).
Foreign colleagues highly appreciated the innovative developments of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 of the Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine in difficult wartime conditions and plan further cooperation in conducting multicenter randomized studies involving the clinical bases of our department.
