During December 2024, the staff of the Department of Emergency Medicine, Professor Volosovets A.O., Associate Professor Kramareva O.G. and Assistant Boіko A.V., as part of a multidisciplinary team of instructors, in partnership with the international organization MedGlobal Ukraine and the World Health Organization (WHO), conducted a series of POCUS (Point-of-Care Ultrasound) trainings in a number of cities in our country (Chernihiv, Poltava, Odesa, Dnipro).

Under the guidance of experts in emergency ultrasound diagnostics, doctors from hospitals in a number of frontline cities mastered life-saving techniques such as eFAST, BLUE and RUSH protocols, which are essential for diagnosing, triaging and providing emergency care in conflict zones.

During the training, more than 260 doctors working on the front line gained important skills to quickly diagnose and treat injuries.

This initiative was made possible by the support of USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance and the Government of the Netherlands (Rijksoverheid).
