On March 14, 2025, Shupyk National Healthcare University of Ukraine held a distinguished diploma ceremony for master’s graduates of both full-time and part-time programs. The event united graduates, faculty, and guests, marking a significant milestone in the lives of future specialists in psychology, social work, and public administration.
Oleksandr Tolstanov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs and Chairman of the Academic Council, extended congratulations on behalf of University Rector Viacheslav Kaminskyi. In his heartfelt address, he underscored the vital role of the graduates’ chosen professions and their promising career prospects.
“You are our trailblazers—the first to demonstrate that our collective efforts are paving the way for a fully functional healthcare system in Ukraine, especially in the wake of this deplorable war,” he remarked. “I’d like to remind you that medical care constitutes only 12–15% of what we define as the healthcare system. It cannot thrive without the expertise you now bring to these essential fields.”
Words of appreciation also came from Larysa Babintseva, Head of the Educational and Methodological Department, alongside department heads: Volodymyr Krasnov (Pedagogy, Psychology, Medical and Pharmaceutical Law), Larysa Melnychuk (Public Administration, Administration, and Social Work), and Halyna Pyliagina (Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, and Medical Psychology). Their remarks highlighted the graduates’ dedication and the faculty’s pride in their achievements.
Equally moving were the graduates’ own speeches, as they reflected on their academic journeys, expressed gratitude to their mentors and peers, and shared cherished memories.
The ceremony reached its peak with the formal presentation of diplomas. Amid applause and celebratory music, graduates received their well-earned credentials, symbolizing the start of their professional journeys.
Congratulations to the Class of 2024! We wish them success, inspiration, and remarkable accomplishments as they embark on their careers!
