The staff of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery of Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education was thanked by the administration of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No 8.

For many years, this medical facility has been the main clinical base of the Department of Surgery and Vascular Surgery.

Along with active medical work, active implementation of scientific developments and departmental innovations in the surgical activity of the institution (bioelectric welding, expansion of the spectrum of laparoscopic, endoscopic and hybrid operations, principles of enhanced recovery after surgery) is carring out.

Constructive dialogue with the administration of the institution in the person of the chief doctor - Piletsky A.M., and his deputies - Plakhotnik S.V., Koltsova T.V., Siryachenko V.G., Legin B.I., allows regular thematic workshops, scientific-practical and clinical conferences, educational and practical-oriented seminars, which promotes professionalism and qualification of doctors.
